Typical Sicilian Ristorante was established on March 9, 1998 by the Amore family of Springfield, MA. Alfonso and Margaret Amore are native Sicilians that came to America in the 1960s. First generation son, Vincenzo (Enzo) Amore, started the business with his parents at 513 Belmont Ave over 10 years ago.

Traditional Sicilian recipes have been handed down from generations of family members and have been incorporated within the current menu. Yet, new and innovative dishes have been created throughout the years with influences from travel and experience keeping the menu old world with a modern twist.

Dedicated family members and friends have worked diligently with the Amore's over the past 10 years which helped create the warm and friendly atmosphere and successful business for the Springfield area. Within the last three years the family business moved to a new location, 497 Belmont Ave, offering more space and creative dishes for our loyal patrons.
